Buenos Aires

This is the first city that you have to visit as it is the capital city of Argentina. This city is very popular for its fashion, modern art and its traditional local beef and wines. Many tourists also like to visit Buenos Aires because it known as the home of the worlds most romantic dance, the tango.
While visiting make sure that you take a trip to the presidential palace (Casa Rosada), not only is it beautiful but it also has a museum containing important objects from former presidents of Argentina. Another great place that you need to visit when you are at Buenos Aires is the La Recoleta Cemetery, it’s the final resting place for many Argentina’s elite’s, including Eva Peron (I’m not one for going anywhere near cemeteries but it really is quite a stunning place).
If you like some of the more touristy stuff then don’t forget to visit the boutiques at Palermo Viejo, famous antique stores in the San Telmo market and in terms of foods and beverages, the local eateries and bars will really impress!
Iguazu Falls
When you are visiting Argentina, you have to visit this Iguazu Falls as it offers the most unique scenery in the whole country. Many people regard this fall as being one of the most powerful and beautiful waterfalls in the world (I would definitely agree). There are many bridges and trails that allow visitors to see the falls from any angles, but quite possibly the best place for you to see the wonder of the Iguazu falls is the ‘Devil’s Throat’ (Garganta del Diablo).
While you’re at the falls it’s worth visiting the famous bird park, especially if you have children with you because the will love it. It’s not just birds either, there are many endangered and rare species and wild animals at the park.
Hill of Seven Colors (Cerro de los Siete Colores)

If you are interested in more natural beauty, you should definitely visit the Hill of Seven Colors. This is one of the most spectacular natural miracles of the world, you are able to see the layers of several colors over these hills in a way you would thing is impossible. Different colors are formed by the accumulation of river and sea sediments through some complex geological processes over a huge amount of time. The perfect time to visit is in the morning so you get to watch the sun as it rises and fills the hills with color.
Los Glaciares National Park

This national park is located on the famous Patagonia region. It is very popular as a tourist destination because it allows visitors to enjoy the opportunity of walking on the stable glaciers. There are several local tour operators which offer famous boat trips for visitors to enjoy amazing views and see the true beauty of the glaciers. The park is actually around 1.5 million acres. However, a lot of areas are closed to public mainly for preservation reasons.
Valdes peninsula

Another one of Argentina’s more beautiful locations, here you can enjoy the mixture of stunning reefs and towering cliffs surrounded by fabulous ocean. This is considered as one of the best wildlife habitats in the world, so important that it is listed as a World Heritage Site. There are many exotic animals to see along the Valdes peninsula, for example: sea lions, penguins, whales, seals and many more. During certain seasons you also get some amazing whale-watching opportunities.

The best thing you can do is visit one of these places then find your own way and discover everything this amazing country has to offer for yourself. Try to plan as much as you can before going so you have an idea of what you want to see, but its always good to add in a little bit of adventure while you are there. It really is one of the best tourist destination countries in the world!
